The registration fee includes Conference folder, tea and refreshments in the mornings and afternoons on 2-4 July. Registered participants are also invited to the PHAROS Conference Dinner on Tuesday evening (3 July).

All papers will be adjudicated.

Presenters are to submit 500-800 word abstracts to reach us before 31 March 2001. Abstracts can be sent to Prof. D.J. Receipt of abstracts will be acknowledged.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

Pietersburg is situated 270 km North of Pretoria. Translux buses depart daily from the Pretoria Railway Station to Pietersburg at 09:45 and 23:00, and from Pietersburg to Pretoria at 13:25. Single R115 and return ticket R230. Call Translux at (012) 334-8000 for reservations and enquiries. Car Rental is also an option. There are return flights from Johannesburg International Airport to Pietersburg at approximately R1,500. Enquire at your local travel agent.

A final circular including the programme, details in respect of catering on campus, parking arrangements, etc. will be mailed to those registered for the Conference. It is also compulsory for presenters of papers to register in advance.
